About Mr. Palumbo

Mr. Palumbo got his start at SATEC as a long-term substitute music teacher for grades 5-8 in 2015. After completing the substitute position, Mr. Palumbo taught private lessons on guitar, bass, piano, drums and music theory full-time. In 2016, Mr. Palumbo became the full-time music teacher at SATEC.

Mr. Palumbo has played drums, guitar, and piano for most of his life. In 2014, he graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Music Education with a focus on drum set and percussion. Mr. Palumbo currently plays and performs with many local bands and until recently, was a member of the Vermont Wind Ensemble for many concert seasons.

In his free time, Mr. Palumbo enjoys learning new instruments, composing music, playing disc golf, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, cooking, and all things Vermont! Mr. Palumbo is also an instructor at the Burlington Music Dojo teaching piano, drum set, and music theory/composition lessons to students of all ages.
