CLASSES

8th Grade General Music

In 8th grade, students meet once a week for 40 minutes year round along with the other unified arts classes.

Units include:

World drumming, intro to guitar and piano, music composition/music technology and music history/appreciation.

Instrumental Ensembles

At SATEC we also offer instruction on many band instruments. Students enrolled in SATEC's band program receive a 30 min. individual or small group lesson once every week. Students also meet for ensemble rehearsal 2-3 times per week for 35 min.

Ensembles include:

5th Grade Band (Beginner Band) T/TH

6th Grade Band (Intermediate Band) M/W/F

7/8th Grade Band (Advanced Band) M/W/F

Jazz Ensemble (7th and 8th grade only) T/TH
